Our Retail Banking Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati in the role of Branch Operations Associate (Transactions Reviewer).


As a Branch Operations Associate (Transactions Reviewer), your responsibilities will include conducting reviews of the stores over-the-counter transactions using scanned images. This entails ensuring that transactions adhere to policies and procedures (including AMLA regulations), validating transactions with supporting transaction media, and addressing transactions/customer records with exceptions by regularizing or reporting them for risk assessment. Additionally, you will analyze submitted documents to address cited findings and recommend them for delisting approval by the CBOD Head. Furthermore, you will coordinate and collaborate with the Teller/Service Manager (SEM) to resolve any cited findings.

What the role will entail

  • Carefully and accurately review all scanned transaction documents and associated end-of-day reports submitted by stores via MS Teams within the specified TAT.
  • Document and report transactions that deviate from policies/guidelines or display operational lapses promptly within prescribed TAT.
  • Notify the respective store of any adverse findings identified and confirm instances with no findings for proper documentation via email.
  • Accurately identify and classify cited findings based on policy and/or IOM.
  • Collaborate with SEM/CSignor/Teller to address and clarify transactions requiring further explanation in a timely manner.
  • Verify and update reported exceptions as either regularized, pending regularization, or closed, ensuring completion by the following day upon receipt of regularized documentation.
  • Review regularized posting media to ensure compliance with policy standards.
  • Analyze justifications provided by SEM before certifying them for delisting approval.
  • Certify scanned regularized transaction documents uploaded for the store's delisting approval request.
  • Transfer or move regularized exceptions from the Outstanding Adverse Findings Report upon securing store approval for delisting.
  • Escalate any issues or concerns requiring further assessment or investigation to the Team Head/Department Head.
  • Evaluate requests for downgrading from SEM and refer them to the appropriate authority for approval.
  • Ensure timely submission of outstanding exceptions noted within the specified TAT to the CPVD Team Head.
  • Maintain and update the CPVD Dashboard for productivity monitoring.
  • Submit any additional required reports as requested.
  • Upload all scanned posting media and reports to SharePoint (or Omnidocs, once available) after review and regularization.
  • Retrieve documents as required from stores, audit teams, and regulatory bodies from the warehouse, ensuring return for safekeeping.
  • Maintain records of physical documents warehoused, ensuring accurate details on corresponding boxes corresponding to the RCN.
  • Assist in handling and delivering projects as assigned from time to time.


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • With at least two (2) years of experience as a front-liner (i.e. Teller, New Accounts) in branch operations or branch support.
  • Effective communication and written skills.
  • Solid foundation and understanding of basic branch operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic drive to learn new bank processes and procedures.
