Our Consumer Lending Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig in the role of Credit Underwriting Team Head.

The Credit Underwriting Team Head oversees and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of credit proposals, reviews Credit Officers' recommendations, and approves loan applications within set limits. The role includes monitoring team productivity and performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with established bank, policies, and government regulations.

What the role will entail

• Reviews proposals and ensure that Credit Officers recommendations are accurate and exhaustive, and routed timely for approval.
• Ensures that risks and deviations are properly identified and mitigated, and escalated to the proper delegated approving authority.
• Renders credit decision; approve loan applications within the set approving limit.
• Ensures that all processes and decisions adhere to the established Bank policies and government regulations.
• Monitors and manages the team productivity, performance, and daily accounts distribution.
• Recommends improvement on existing Bank policies and procedures in line with the present market conditions.

What were looking for

• College graduate of any four (4) year course related to business management, economics, and banking and finance.
• Proven track record with at least 3 years supervisory experience in processing Consumer Loan applications.
• Can perform independent financial and credit analysis.
• Proficient in oral, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to details and process and results-oriented.
