Regulatory Compliance Associate

Purpose

The position is responsible for the following:
1. Performs duties and responsibilities involved in assisting the CCO; and
2. Handles all administrative requirements of the CCO, Head of the Compliance Assurance, AML Compliance and the Regulatory Compliance and Governance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assists in the logistical requirements during the BSP Examination, BCO and DBCO quarterly meetings, meetings initiated by the Division and Division meetings
• Maintains an organized file of correspondences with regulators, customer complaints and Reports on Crime and Losses (RCL).
• Monitors receipt of and timely submission of replies to customer complaints/ requests coursed through the BSP.
• Assists Compliance Officers in monitoring/ following up with units concerned their responses to BSP issuances, letters, surveys etc. coursed through Compliance Division. Keeps a hard copy and/or soft copy of all correspondence to and from BSP, PDIC, SEC and other regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate the preparation and finalization of RCL, submits the report to BSP and monitors closure of RCL. Also refers to AML Compliance Officer if RCL also requires Suspicious Transaction Reporting.
• Assists in preparing presentation materials for Corporate Governance and Compliance Committee, RPT Committee bi-monthly meetings, BCOs and DBCOs quarterly meetings and Division meetings.
• Maintains the tracking of the Divisions SLAs with its customers
  

Job Qualifications and Competencies Requirement

• Graduate of 4-year Business or Economics course
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of banking experience
• Computer Literate, reasonably proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Good reading comprehension
• Preferably with working knowledge of basic banking operations
