Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Metadata Management Lead.

In this role you will set the vision and direction for enterprise metadata practices, leading a team of analysts to design architectures, define standards, and integrate metadata into governance and operations. What the role will entail

  • Establish and govern enterprise metadata strategy and frameworks aligned with Data Management Associate ‑ Data Management Body of Knowledge, regulatory requirements, and data governance policies
  • Lead and manage a team of metadata analysts, including resource planning, objective setting, and performance evaluation
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of metadata architectures, taxonomies, and ontologies to ensure scalability and interoperability across platforms
  • Approve and enforce classification and tagging rules for critical and sensitive data, ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and retention policies
  • Collaborate with executives, business units, and IT leaders to drive metadata adoption and communicate program status, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, adopt new tools and methodologies, and integrate industry best practices to elevate metadata maturity
  • Represent the Data Management Office in governance councils and contribute to enterprise data strategy and cross‑domain metadata initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields; masters degree or MBA is an advantage
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM), vendor-specific metadata management certifications, or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in metadata management, data governance, or information management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in metadata management, taxonomies, and data lineage; proven ability to define and enforce policies; leadership and people management skills; experience integrating metadata into governance and operations
  • Advanced competencies in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, results orientation, and leadership capabilities including strategic thinking, problem solving, innovation, and building high-performance teams
