Our People & Corporate Services is looking for experienced professionals to join us with the role of Talent Management Officer.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, leading the design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of organizational capability programs in support of the HROD Head, the HR Group, and EastWest Banks overall vision and direction.

You will play a key thought leadership and influencing role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent management and development, and the people engagement agenda.

What the role will entail

  • Partner with the Organizational Development (OD) Head and Business Unit (BU) Heads to align EWB organizational requirements with OD best practices around objectives and key result areas, manpower management, talent management/development, and succession, change and continuous process improvement, people engagement
  • Develop and lead the delivery of HR-OD systems, roadmaps, policies, and processes
  • Act as strategic stakeholder partner to BU Heads and leaders on specific people and talent requirements
  • Lead the strategy planning and delivery of organizational review and design in active partnership with BU heads and leaders, HR-Talent Acquisition (TA), Learning & Development (L&D), and other collaborator HR teams
  • Partner with the HR, Business Unit Heads, leaders in: Mapping out of Competencies based on agreed requirements, whether aided by an external consultant or internally in consultation with the BUs, the design of competency rubrics of behavioral indicators and proficiency levels.

What we're looking for

  • With 5-7 years of experience in OD or Talent Management, 4 years of which in managerial role. Banking experience, a plus
  • Actual and active participation in change management, partnering and consultation with the business
  • Strong business sense; culture assessment, stakeholder management, and negotiation acumen; and an ability to align business requirements with change and talent management/ development strategies
  • Key contributor who successfully developed, delivered, facilitated, analyzed, and measured:
    • OD and talent management programs and interventions
    • Organizational Structure design/redesign and job architecture
    • Culture building, succession management, talent review and assessment using varied tools for large-scale and multi-year critical initiatives
    • Engagement survey
    • Coaching and mentoring
