Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Lead Data Platform Engineer.

In this role you will lead a team responsible for the strategic development, management, and optimization of enterprise-grade data platforms, pipelines, and services, reporting directly to the Head of AI, ML & Platform Engineering. You will provide expert leadership while driving the DataOps and MLOps platform strategy to deliver scalable, high-impact outcomes across the organization.

What the role will entail

• Define and own the strategic roadmap for cloud-native data platforms, leading their design, implementation, and ongoing optimization
• Establish and govern DataOps and MLOps standards, including CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and monitoring
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Platform Engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Risk, Engineering, and IT Operations to align platform capabilities with enterprise needs
• Drive continuous enhancement of platform services to support scalable, enterprise-grade data and ML solutions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Relevant certifications preferred, including dbt, Databricks, Confluent Kafka, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and GitLab CI/CD
• 10+ years of experience in data or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in DataOps/MLOps leadership and people management
• Expert proficiency in dbt, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow or dbt Cloud, with strong Python and SQL skills and proven CI/CD automation experience
• Deep expertise in DataOps and MLOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and banking data governance and risk compliance frameworks
