Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Metadata Management Officer.
In this role you will develop and maintain metadata assets such as data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation to ensure data discoverability and governance. You will enforce metadata standards, oversee classification of critical data elements, and collaborate with governance and technical teams to integrate metadata into quality initiatives while promoting best practices across the organization.

What the role will entail
- Develop and maintain metadata standards, taxonomies, and templates aligned with Data Management Association ‑ Data Management Body of Knowledge principles and governance policies
- Maintain data dictionaries and business glossaries, ensuring definitions, synonyms, and stewardship assignments are accurate and consistent across systems
- Oversee classification and tagging of critical data elements, applying appropriate privacy, security, and retention rules
- Document and maintain business and technical data lineage to support discovery, impact analysis, and transparency across the data lifecycle
- Administer metadata management tools, integrating metadata with catalogs, data quality, master data, and privacy platforms while optimizing repository usability
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, train users, and promote adoption of metadata best practices
- Contribute to governance councils, support enterprise data quality initiatives, and evaluate new metadata management tools and techniques
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields
- Preferred certification or training in metadata management, data governance, or information management frameworks such as Data Management Association (DAMA) or Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)
- At least 3 to 8 years of experience in metadata management, data governance, or information management, with hands-on expertise in metadata repositories and catalog tools
- Strong knowledge of metadata concepts, taxonomies, and lineage; proficiency with metadata tools; ability to enforce standards; understanding of privacy, retention, and classification requirements; excellent communication and project leadership skills
- Core competencies at intermediate level in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, and results orientation, with basic leadership competencies in strategic thinking, innovation, and team empowerment
