About the job Logistics Support Specialist
1. Pick
up bookings and quotations
2. Monitor deliveries and keep delays to a minimum. Constantly following
up and updating clients.
3. Coordinate with the Managers and Fleet Allocators for escalations and
urgent pick ups and deliveries.
4. Calculate invoices for clients and validate charges on carrier
invoices.
5. Investigate reasons for delays and communicate to the clients with
incident reports rom carriers.
6. Connote report - compile consignments despatched the previous day and
send overdues to Operations for immediate action.
7. Maintain trackers and ensure spreadsheets are updated and uploaded to
shared file. Weekly
8. Prepare end of month report for all clients.
9. Update and send daily report to one of the clients.
10. Other clerical and assigned task from the client. Random follow up
calls/emails to clients requesting service feedback by F&L CS team.
