Assistant Pre-K Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Pre-K teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Infant Toddler, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. You will work closely with our lead teachers to support the daily operations of our infant and toddler classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans for children

- Provide attentive and responsive care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child

- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and cohesive learning experience for children

- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's daily activities and progress

- Follow all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of children at all times

- Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings as required

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education degree or certification preferred

- Minimum of 1 year experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting

- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Must pass background check and physical
