Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and food service will enhance the customer experience, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service.

Schedule:

M-F 7 am-10 am

Saturday 7 am-1 pm

Wednesday 7 am-4 pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure all food items are presented attractively and meet safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support overall store operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or preparation is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable experiences through quality service.
