Lead Service Technician - Three Rivers, TX
A Lead Service Technician is responsible for service and maintenance of gas engine compressor packages and associate equipment for multiple applications. Responsible for leading, supervising and training less-experienced Field Service Technicians.

Operational Excellence:
- Directly supervise a team of Service Technicians, ensuring the execution of responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
- Assign and manage the field workforce, handling performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and issue resolution.
- Monitor paperwork flow to ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the billing process.
- Provide 24/7 coverage, addressing immediate repair needs, major equipment overhauls, and operation coordination.
- Identify and address equipment, package, and plant inefficiencies/issues to optimize operational efficiency.
Technical Expertise:
- Calculate and interpret Compressor Performance runs and other OEM Software.
- Conduct preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression, process, and/or production equipment on client sites.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, packages, and systems, completing minor and major overhauls and revamps.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical abilities to set level and align prime mover to driven equipment using dial indicators and/or laser alignment tools.
- Assist in equipment Start-up/Commissioning, displaying a broad understanding of procedures and requirements.
- Possess knowledge of purging and loading practices/procedures.
Safety and Compliance:
- Recognize and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and policies.
- Participate fully in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) program and Behavior-Based Safety programs (BBS).
- Report all incidents immediately to the supervisor and participate in ARKOSs incident reporting and investigation program, as well as the customers incident reporting and investigation program.
- Participate fully in site-specific Emergency Action Plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Vocational/Trade school or Associates Degree (AA) preferred.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years' experience in the field or certificate of completion from an acceptable trade school or military training and experience in a related field.
- Successfully comply with and complete the OSHA required Respiratory Questionnaire process with a Licensed Health Care Provider.
- Must pass a Respiratory Protection Fit Test with a Licensed Health Care Provider.
- Currently comply with and/or be able to successfully complete Health Safety training applicable to job assignment and duties.
- Possess a valid drivers license.

- Dial Indicator and Laser Alignment Tools.

- Exhaust Gas Analyzer.
- Digital volt and ohm meter (DVOM).
- Laptop Computer and related original equipment manufacturer Software and Firmware.
- Hydraulic Torque Tooling.
- Gas Detector, Colorimetric Stain Tubes, Escape, Rescue, and Work Air Packs SCBA (as applicable).
