Living Arrangements: Candidate must live within 70-miles of Plant
Position Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Salary: $45-$52/Hour+ (Based on Experience)
Bonus: Potential Sign-On bonus, Quarterly retention bonus (4%), & Annual performance based bonus (Up to 10%)
Daily Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4PM (30-Min Lunch)
On Call Schedule: 24/Hour On-Call nights & weekends rotating weekly
Experience: 10+ Years experience (Less than 10 years experience may be considered)
About the Plant
- 400 MMSCFD of processing capacity in service with expansion capacity of 1 BCFD on current site.
- Eight (8) residue gas compressors on site
- Six (6) GEA screw compressors on site
- Four (4) electric drive compressors on site
Responsibilities
- Primary duties will be to: perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, trouble calls, and generating detailed work orders for third-party companies.
- Conduct maintenance and operational tasks on natural gas process equipment, including Cryogenic Processing, Reciprocating Compressors, Amine Treating Systems, and Glycol Dehydration.
- Perform skilled mechanical duties such as operations, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing natural gas engines, compressors, generators, and other power-driven equipment.
- Accurately maintain and complete maintenance records, service reports, and other required documentation.
- Overhaul, repair, and adjust engines, compressors, pumps, and motors.
- Inspect engines, compressors, and mechanical equipment to diagnose problems and determine the extent of necessary repairs; perform repairs and routine preventative maintenance.
- Maintain detailed awareness of compressor components including lubrication systems, shutdown systems, loading and unloading valves, pistons, valves, and electrical systems.
- Keep comprehensive compressor logs, diaries, and inventories of parts, equipment, lube oils, and coolants.
- Ensure general upkeep of facilities and equipment, including engines/compressors, company vehicle, and shop.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Plant Mechanic.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the natural gas industry or a related field.
- Less than ten years might be accepted depending on current staffing.
- Must have previous experience on CAT 3616 natural gas engines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Basic knowledge of plant operations and Cryo Plant Mechanics.
- Valid State Operator's Driving License and an excellent driving record.
- Willingness to work after hours and on-call rotations.
- Adequate communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50lbs or more.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and initiative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the mechanical and/or maintenance industry, particularly with gas-plant operations, gas compression, pumps, and/or liquid or gas gathering processes.
- Vocational Tech certificates or equipment-specific training.
- CAT Certified G3600 Commissioning Training
- Ariel Compressor Training
