Administrative Assistant (Temporary)
Location: 1600 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA
Company: Eagle Staffing Company (on behalf of our client – an advocacy organization)
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
Duration: Temporary (next few months)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $20 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Work Setting: In-person role
Position Overview
Eagle Staffing Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client, an advocacy organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of office support and event coordination in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars
- Assist with creating and managing Google registration forms
- Prepare materials for meetings and events (e.g., name tags, supplies)
- Support event setup both onsite and offsite
- Assist with transporting materials to and from events
- Clean up and organize after meetings and events
- Perform general office duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to assist with light physical tasks (lifting/moving event materials)
