Senior Licensing Officer

Position: Senior Licensing Executive (Cantonese & Japanese Speaking)

Location: Tuen Mun

About the role: 

The Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Licensing Executive to manage and expand our intellectual property (IP) licensing portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire licensing lifecycle, from negotiation to contract management, ensuring brand integrity and commercial success. This role requires fluency in both Cantonese and Japanese to effectively liaise with key IP owners and business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, execute, and manage licensing contracts with IP owners and licensees.
• Act as the primary coordinator between IP owners, internal teams (product development, marketing, sales), and external partners.
• Ensure strict IP alignment, product quality, and compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Manage the product and marketing material approval process to maintain brand standards.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with licensors and key business partners.
• Identify new licensing opportunities and support business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven, hands-on 3 years working experience or above in IP licensing is essential.
• Fluency in both Cantonese and Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• B2B sales experience is highly preferred.
