Translator and Project Officer

Position: Translator Officer

Location: Southern District, Hong Kong

Working Hour: Mon- Fri 9:00-18:00

Job Description

• Draft and translate documents and materials between Japanese and English
• Provide interpretation and translation support during Zoom meetings with Japanese counterparts.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Manage, organize, and maintain project-related documentation while providing general administrative support.

Job Requirements

• A bachelors degree in a relevant field is required.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese and English. JLPT N1 level is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in translation and interpretation.
• Prior experience working with property developers or in the construction sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of property development or construction practices is highly desirable.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
