Sales and Customer Support

Company: Our client is a globally recognized logistics service provider specializing in freight forwarding and General Sales and Service Agent

Location: Hung Hom

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00

Salary: HKD18,000 to 21,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cargo import and export to Hong Kong and Mainland China including arranging ships and trucks and reporting to customers
• Calculate transportation costs and issue invoices using logistics software
• Prepare transportation cost estimates
• Accompany sales staff on customer visits
• Research transportation regulations in various countries including contacting government agencies
• Work as booth staff at trade shows and events a few times a year
• Prepare performance and other reports
• Participate in and take minutes of internal and external meetings
• Travel overseas for business a few times a year

Qualifications:

• More than 1 year of relevant experience in a Sales Support role in freight forwarder / logistics industry
• Native Cantonese with business level English (Japanese is an advantage)
• Chinese typing required
• Proficiency in EXCEL/WORD
• Strong communication skills to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong sense of responsibility in carrying out tasks
• Eagerness to take on new challenges
• Ability to take initiative and consider matters from multiple perspectives
• Bright and energetic personality
