Job Title: Senior Merchandiser to Manager (Overseas Sales Dept: Food Position)

About the Company: We are a leading firm that provides quality assurance and control for private brand products in various categories, such as food, clothing, home essentials, and more. We supply these products to overseas retail stores of Aeon group, one of the largest retailers in Asia.

Job Details: The role involves proposing food products to Aeon group companies and creating new business opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Quality Assuarance/control for private brand production
  Supplying PB prodcuts to overseas own Retail stores
• Ability to propose Food products to group companies and create a new business.
• Costing and pricing
• Vendor management and negotiation
• Delivery and logistics
• Market research and analysis
• Quality control and labeling standards
• Coordination with other departments and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Knowledge of food costing, distribution, import/export logistics, and labelling standards for world and Japan market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills
• Willingness to travel across South East Asia
• Experience in sales and product development in the food industry
• Managerial experience is a plus
• English, Japanese, and Chinese at a fluent level.
