Short description of the Hong Kong Offshore Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal Project:
In support of the Hong Kong Governments policy to reduce carbon intensity and increase the proportion of natural gas used for power generation, an offshore LNG import terminal in Hong Kong has been constructed and will be ready to start its operations in 2023! It will be one of the very few alike terminals in the world. The terminal will contribute to the enhancement and diversification of Hong Kongs natural gas supply sources, and ensure a more reliable supply of fuel at competitive prices.
The terminal facility entails an LNG Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU), a nearshore jetty platform, two subsea pipelines, and two gas receiving stations. It is a joint venture between the two local power producers - Castle Peak Power Company (CAPCO) / CLP Power Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Electric Company.
The owner of the FSRU vessel will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the offshore jetty platform. The Jetty O&M team consists of an onshore team and an offshore team of Supervisors and Operators.

About this role:
Running a safe, effective, and efficient day-to-day operation of the Joint Venture (JV) Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal facility, implementing operational plans, and auditing their application to optimize facility operation in line with HK LNG performance criteria.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Associate Degree/Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally relevant operational experience preferably in LNG, Oil, Gas, Chemical, or other related processing industry
- MUST Have power plant working experience .
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
Job Duties:
1)Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
- Ensures compliance with company SHEQ policies during assigned shifts
- Safeguards team members to adopt exemplary SHEQ behaviors
2)Operational Excellence
- Supervises personnel assigned to the shift
- Instruct operators about the operation targets for their shifts, indicating details regarding processes and task distribution
- Ensure the jetty facility is compliant at all times with company policies and procedures, appropriate legislation, and relevant codes of practice
- Coordinate shift activities with the maintenance team, whilst maintaining good communications with all plant staff during assigned shift
- Prepare and guide minor maintenance activities with the team and interact with the contractor when required
- Manage and update work instructions
- Implement operating plans to fully utilize the operating capabilities of the plant terminal and maximize revenue
- Improve the effectiveness of work procedures
- Provide guidance, instruction, and direction to operators; assess, review, and provide feedback on performance; indicating desired corrective actions
3) Training & Development
- Update the work operating and safety procedures to improve effectiveness, and contribute to the development and implementation of learning and development programs.
- Attend all training courses as required in order to perform the operation, maintenance, safety-related activities, or staff development.
