Senior Officer

About the Company: A leading Japanese insurance company is hiring a Senior Officer to join their team. The role involves developing sales strategies, handling underwriting, and providing insurance solutions to corporate clients. Candidates should have 5+ years of general insurance experience, a valid General Insurance License (IIQE Paper 1 & 2), and knowledge of P&C, Marine Cargo, and Medical Insurance. Fluency in Cantonese and English are required.

Location: Admiralty

Working Hour: Mon- Fri 9:00-17:15

Salary: Depends on experience 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the general insurance business with intermediaries.

• Identify business opportunities and provide tailored insurance solutions to corporate clients.

• Conduct underwriting in collaboration with in-house underwriters, ensuring balanced risk assessment and appropriate terms.

• Prepare proposals and presentation materials.

• Gather, analyze, and generate reports for clients and internal use.

• Manage assigned projects and work closely with team members.

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree or above.

• License: Valid General Insurance License (IIQE Paper 1 & 2).

• Certification: ANZIIF/ACII qualification is a plus.

• Experience: At least 5 years in general insurance or insurance brokerage.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of P&C, Marine Cargo, and Medical Insurance.

  • Good presentation and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
  • Fluent in Japanese is a big plus.
