Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a fast-growing, well-established Japanese company with a strong global presence in the high-end retail sector. Known for their commitment to quality and craftsmanship, they specialize in the sourcing and distribution of premium branded goods across Asia and beyond

Location: Tsim Sha Tsui

Salary: HKD 23 to 27K

Working hours: 5 days' week

Responsibilities:

• Report to Accounting Manager and supervise a team of accounting staff to perform daily accounting duties
• Handle daily accounting duties independently, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations and accounting schedules, etc.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements, reporting packages and related analysis
• Reconcile inter-company accounts between related parties
• Assist in month-end closing and prepare schedules of management reports, ensure the accuracy and meet the deadline
• Assist in communication with external parties to handle audits and tax returns
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting field, previous accounting experience in retail industry will be an advantage
• Knowledge of MYOB will be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Independent, proactive, attention to details, deadline driven and good interpersonal skills
