Finance & Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee full-set accounting operations and ensure compliance with HKFRS and internal policies. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex reporting and audits in a dynamic business environment.

Location: Admiralty

Salary: negotiable

Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri, 9am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Review daily payments, receipts, and general ledger accounts
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management and HQ
• Review daily sales and purchase transactions across business departments
• Prepare budgets and monthly reports (e.g. Actual vs Budget analysis)
• Monitor exchange rates, interest rates, and FX positions
• Handle annual audit, profit tax return, and government statistical questionnaires (HKSAR Census and Statistics Department)
• Utilize SAP for accounting processes and support new system implementation
• Ensure compliance with tax computation, CFC reporting, BEPS, global tax, and transfer pricing requirements
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 78 years of solid full-set accounting experience
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS, tax regulations, and global reporting standards
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
