JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Optimizely Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing visual elements, ensuring user interaction and web responsiveness, and managing server-side logic within the Optimizely framework. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Optimizely development, focusing on robust server-side operations, database management, and application logic to deliver high-performance web applications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using the Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) and Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
Implement frontend and backend components to ensure seamless user experience and functionality.
Work on server-side logic, including APIs, integrations, and database interactions within the Optimizely ecosystem.
Ensure high web performance, scalability, and security of Optimizely-based applications.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to translate business requirements into functional applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Optimizely CMS, eCommerce, and personalization features.
Stay updated with Optimizely updates, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance development efficiency.
Optimize code and database queries for high-performance applications.
Work closely with stakeholders, including business teams, project managers, and QA teams, to ensure project success.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Optimizely development (formerly Episerver).
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
Experience with Optimizely CMS, Commerce, and DXP features.
Expertise in server-side development, API integrations, and cloud-based deployment (Azure, AWS, or similar).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks to support responsive web development.
Familiarity with SQL Server and database management in Optimizely implementations.
Strong understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
