JOB SUMMARY:

The Dynamics MPOS (Modern Point of Sale) Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 MPOS solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of retail operations, point-of-sale systems, and integration with various back-office systems. The architect will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to ensure that the MPOS solutions meet business needs and align with the overall IT strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solution Design: Lead the architecture and design of Dynamics 365 MPOS solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Integration: Design and implement integration strategies for Dynamics MPOS with other systems, including ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.
  • Customization: Oversee the customization of MPOS to meet specific business needs, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and project timelines.
  • System Configuration: Configure Dynamics 365 MPOS modules, including payment processing, inventory management, and customer management.
  • Testing and Validation: Lead testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solution quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including system designs, data models, and process flows.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support teams, ensuring smooth adoption and operation of MPOS systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in Dynamics 365 and related technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics, with a focus on Dynamics 365 MPOS.
  • Proven experience in retail systems architecture, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing MPOS solutions.
  • Experience in integrating MPOS with ERP and CRM systems, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 for Retail, MPOS, and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems, retail operations, and inventory management.
  • Experience with Azure services, including integration and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in retail environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
