JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions using Power BI and other data engineering tools. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the ETL process.
Collaborate with data architects and other stakeholders to define data integration strategies.
Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
Implement best practices for data modeling and database design.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Create and manage Power BI datasets, dataflows, and data connections.
Implement row-level security and other data governance measures in Power BI.
Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI reports and dashboards.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower end-users with Power BI capabilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.
Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language.
Experience with Power Query for data transformation.
Expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Apache Nifi).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
