JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support key initiatives across Global Functions (Finance, HR, Risk), with an emphasis on data privacy, compliance, and secure reporting. The role involves analyzing complex dashboard logic, mapping confidentiality requirements into secure Power BI models, and driving documentation and planning activities to support transformation and governance objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Triage and analyze a suite of 48 complex dashboards used across Global Functions to identify logic, data sources, and compliance gaps.
Interpret custom scripting and reporting logic to inform transition or redesign efforts.
Translate confidentiality and data classification rules into Power BI Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security (CLS) models.
Build and manage a backlog of technical and functional items for remediation or enhancement.
Define and drive a proof of concept (POC) plan to validate secure reporting approaches.
Conduct interviews with business and technical stakeholders to elicit requirements and current-state insights.
Document detailed user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure all reporting and data handling aligns with relevant data privacy, security, and compliance standards.
Support quality assurance and validation to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong experience in analyzing reporting logic, including custom scripts and calculated measures.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Power BI, particularly in designing and implementing RLS/CLS.
Proven background in projects related to Finance, HR, and/or Risk functions.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations, confidentiality rules, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on clarity and documentation.
Experience documenting user stories and technical requirements using Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
