BIM COORDINATOR (INFRASTRUCTURE)

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines including roads, utilities, drainage, structures, and MEP for infrastructure-heavy projects.
- Manage model federation processes and ensure accurate integration of discipline models.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and manage NWC/NWD files in line with the BIM Execution Plan.
- Lead and facilitate clash detection and coordination workshops with design and construction teams.
- Track, report, and support resolution of clashes, interface issues, and design conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and information delivery milestones.
- Act as the primary BIM interface between engineering, construction, and external stakeholders.
- Support engineering teams in model coordination, issue resolution, and constructability reviews.
- Maintain coordination logs, clash registers, and coordination reports.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of BIM experience, with strong exposure to infrastructure-heavy projects.
- Proven experience in multi-discipline BIM coordination and model federation.
- Advanced proficiency in Navisworks Manage, including clash detection and NWC/NWD management.
- Good understanding of Civil 3D, Revit, and other relevant BIM authoring tools.
- Strong coordination, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience interfacing with engineering consultants, contractors, and client teams.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, BEP, ISO 19650, and project coordination workflows.
- Experience in GCC or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
