ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER (LOW VOLTAGE)
About the job ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER (LOW VOLTAGE)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and model Low Voltage / ELV systems using Autodesk Revit MEP, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Data & Telecom, Fire Alarm, PA, and BMS interfaces
- Prepare detailed BIM models in accordance with project specifications, BIM Execution Plan, and coordination requirements
- Ensure models meet the required Level of Development (LOD 300/400) at various project stages
- Participate in clash detection exercises and support coordination with other disciplines
- Update and revise BIM models based on coordination comments and design changes
- Produce accurate shop drawings, layouts, sections, and schedules from BIM models
- Maintain proper model structure, naming conventions, and documentation standards
- Coordinate with BIM Coordinators and Engineers to resolve technical and modeling issues

Support the preparation of as-built models upon project completion
Ensure timely delivery of assigned BIM tasks and model outputs
Key Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience as a BIM Modeler with strong focus on Low Voltage / ELV systems
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP for LV/ELV modeling
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks (for coordination support)
- Good understanding of LV/ELV systems, standards, and installation practices
- Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and coordination processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary BIM environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project standards
- GCC project experience is an added advantage
