About the job NDT ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced NDT Engineer with strong pipeline inspection experience and a proven AUT inspection background. The successful candidate must be a Certified Material Engineer and hold valid NDT Level II or Level III certifications in relevant methods. AUT experience is mandatory, and candidates must possess a valid PCN certification in AUT or PAUT.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and supervise NDT activities for pipeline projects, with primary focus on AUT inspections
  • Execute and interpret AUT, UT, RT, and VT results in accordance with project specifications and international codes
  • Review welding and material inspection requirements for pipeline construction
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and project-specific standards
  • Prepare, review, and approve NDT reports, inspection records, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with QA/QC, welding, and construction teams to resolve inspection-related issues
  • Provide technical guidance to NDT technicians and ensure proper application of AUT procedures
  • Support audits, client inspections, and third-party verification activities

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Material Engineer (recognized certification)
  • NDT Level II or Level III certification in: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Visual Testing (VT)
  • Valid PCN certification in AUT or PAUT (Mandatory)
  • Level II certification acceptable only with strong, proven field experience in AUT
  • Minimum 5–8 years of NDT experience in oil & gas pipeline projects
  • Hands-on AUT inspection experience on pipelines is mandatory
  • Experience working on cross-country pipelines, flowlines, or transmission pipelines
  • Strong exposure to site-based inspection activities (not lab-only experience)
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline welding, materials, and inspection techniques
  • Ability to interpret NDT results and make engineering-level decisions
  • Familiarity with AUT systems, data analysis, and reporting
  • Good communication skills for coordination with clients and site teams
  • Ability to work independently in a site environment
  • NDT Level III certification (Preferred)
  • Experience on major EPC pipeline projects in the Middle East (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of client and third-party inspection requirements (Preferred)
