IT SECURITY SPECIALIST - NETWORK & DATA SECURITY

Role Summary

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist with strong expertise in network and data security to support the implementation of national data protection controls and technical security measures across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data protection operations in alignment with Saudi national regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data protection strategies, architectures, and controls
• Contribute to security roadmaps and approved implementation plans
• Take ownership of assigned security activities with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of security controls
• Provide expert guidance and knowledge transfer on data protection best practices

Technical Security Controls

• Design and validate encryption and key management solutions (data at rest and in transit)
• Implement access control, authentication, MFA, RBAC, and session management
• Secure APIs using authentication, TLS, and logging mechanisms
• Enable audit logging, monitoring, and incident tracking
• Support data retention automation and secure data disposal
• Integrate security incident response with Cybersecurity and IT Operations

• Security training and awareness initiatives
• Privacy and protection by design reviews
• Data breach and incident response support
• Cross-system data flow and integration reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in IT security, network security, or data protection
• Strong understanding of NCA DCC controls and Saudi regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience with encryption, access management, logging, and monitoring technologies
• Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities
