We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller / Reporting Engineer to support project cost control and reporting activities for an ADNOC Offshore project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting across FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning phases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and cost reports.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.
  • Track commitments, actual costs, and identify potential cost overruns.
  • Coordinate with planning and project teams to align cost and schedule data.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress and cost reports for internal and client review.
  • Support management change, including evaluation of variations and claims.
  • Analyze project performance using KPIs such as CPI, cost variance, and earned value.
  • Review contractor invoices and ensure proper cost allocation and coding.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial close-out reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore procedures and reporting requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in cost control and reporting in oil & gas projects.
  • Proven experience in offshore projects, preferably with ADNOC Offshore.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with project control tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and integration of cost and schedule data.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCP, PMP) are an advantage.
