IBM CLOUD PAK FOR INTEGRATION (CP4I) OPENSHIFT ADMINISTRATOR

Duncan & Ross is hiring an IBM CP4I OpenShift Administrator for a leading enterprise client in Riyadh. You'll own the deployment, security and day-to-day operation of the client's hybrid-cloud integration platform: IBM Cloud Pak for Integration running on Red Hat OpenShift, with a focus on high availability and automation.

What you'll do

• Plan, install and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid cloud environments, and deploy CP4I using Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM).
• Manage and lifecycle CP4I capabilities through their IBM operators, including IBM MQ, API Connect, App Connect Enterprise, Event Streams and Aspera.
• Secure the platform through RBAC, OpenShift OAuth, Keycloak/IAM integration and SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Design persistent storage (ODF/Ceph, Portworx, CSI), and run cluster upgrades, patching and node updates with zero downtime as the goal.
• Build monitoring dashboards, automate provisioning through GitOps, and troubleshoot cluster, storage and pod networking issues.

What you'll bring

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering production Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Practical experience deploying and operating IBM CP4I components.
• Solid knowledge of OpenShift networking (SDN/OVN), Ingress/Routes, network policies and service mesh (Istio).
• An understanding of enterprise integration patterns, message queuing and API lifecycle management.
• Composure and a structured approach when resolving production incidents.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Logging, Sysdig
• Scripting: Bash, Python, oc, kubectl
• Storage: ODF, Ceph, Portworx, AWS EBS/EFS

Nice to have

• Arabic, spoken and written
• Red Hat certifications (e.g. EX280) or IBM CP4I certifications
