We are seeking an experienced Telecom Systems Engineer to support offshore EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, integration, and technical coordination of industrial telecommunication systems from FEED through Detailed Engineering and project execution. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to ensure telecom systems are designed, integrated, and delivered in accordance with project specifications and international standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop telecom system architecture and engineering deliverables for offshore facilities.
  • Prepare and review telecom system philosophies, specifications, and design documents.
  • Design and coordinate industrial communication systems including fiber optic networks, LAN/WAN, CCTV, PAGA, Access Control, Telephone, Radio, and Structured Cabling.
  • Review vendor documents, technical submittals, and equipment specifications.
  • Perform technical bid evaluations and support vendor selection.
  • Coordinate interfaces with Electrical, Instrumentation, ICSS, DCS, Fire & Gas, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, model reviews, and technical meetings.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and system troubleshooting when required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout all project phases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8–15 years of experience in telecom engineering for offshore oil & gas EPC or FEED projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial telecom systems including CCTV, PAGA, LAN/WAN, Fiber Optic Networks, Telephone Systems, Radio Communication, Access Control, and Structured Cabling.
  • Experience integrating telecom systems with ICSS, DCS, and other control systems.
  • Familiarity with international standards and offshore project requirements.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience on offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, or FPSO projects.
  • Previous experience with major EPC contractors or operators.
  • Exposure to FAT, SAT, commissioning, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience working on Middle East or international offshore projects is an advantage.
