SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects to support an ADNOC Onshore project. The candidate will be responsible for civil engineering activities at site, with strong experience in construction, installation, testing, commissioning and site execution. The ideal candidate must be ADNOC Approved and have hands-on experience working on major onshore Oil & Gas projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities at site.
• Review and interpret civil drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor civil works including foundations, concrete works, structural works, roads, paving, underground works and other site civil activities.
• Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, HSE requirements and project schedule.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve site technical and construction issues.
• Inspect completed works and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to civil works.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, site instructions and as-built documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, progress and quality of work.
• Participate in site inspections, walkdowns, punch-list clearance and handover activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Ensure all civil activities comply with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects.
• ADNOC Approval is mandatory.
• Strong experience in ADNOC Onshore projects is required.
• Proven site-based construction and commissioning experience.
• Experience across relevant civil disciplines, including structural/civil works, foundations, concrete, roads, underground utilities and associated infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC requirements and HSE procedures.
• Experience coordinating with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Strong experience in site inspections, technical coordination, punch-list clearance and project handover.
• Immediate joiner / short notice candidates preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to work site-based in the UAE.
