As a Mechanical Static Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering, design, and technical execution of static equipment during FEED and Detailed Design phases for ADNOC oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, international codes, and industry best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform FEED and Detailed Design engineering for mechanical static equipment including Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Columns, Reactors, Separators, Filters, Drums, and Package Equipment
  • Develop and review: Design Basis Memorandum (DBM), Equipment Datasheets, Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), Vendor Drawings and Documents
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Engineering Standards, project specifications, and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM, TEMA, etc.).
  • Coordinate with process, piping, stress, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and HSE disciplines during engineering development.
  • Participate in HAZOP, SIL, Model Reviews, and Design Reviews.
  • Review and comment on vendor data, calculations, drawings, and manuals.
  • Provide technical support during procurement and vendor clarification stages.
  • Interface with client (ADNOC) and PMC for technical clarifications and reviews.
  • Support engineering deliverables as per project schedule and quality requirements.
  • Assist in resolving technical queries (TQs) during FEED and DD phases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
  • Strong experience in FEED and Detailed Design for EPC contractors.
  • ADNOC project experience preferred (Onshore / Offshore / EPC).
  • Proven experience handling static equipment for large-scale oil & gas facilities.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC Group Company standards (ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, GASCO, etc.).
  • Experience working with international EPC contractors is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, API 660, TEMA, NACE, and related standards.
  • Experience with vendor coordination and package engineering.
  • Ability to review mechanical calculations and design reports.
  • Knowledge of materials selection and corrosion control.
  • Proficient in engineering tools and software (e.g., PV Elite, Compress, MS Office).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Client-facing experience with ADNOC or PMC.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Previous experience working on ADNOC EPC Engineering Phase projects.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC In-Country Value (ICV) requirements.
