PLANNING ENGINEER
About the job PLANNING ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project for large-scale architectural or sports facility projects.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure alignment of project timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Create baseline programs, track progress, and prepare earned value analysis reports.
- Integrate schedules with BIM models using tools such as Revit and Navisworks to enhance planning accuracy.
- Conduct risk assessments, delay analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to communicate schedule updates and project impacts.
- Support project leadership by providing accurate schedule forecasts and scenario planning.
- Ensure all scheduling activities align with project objectives, industry standards, and stadium-specific design requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- 5-8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale architectural or sports facility projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural and structural detailing, stadium design standards, and construction sequencing for large public venues.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling and resource planning.
- Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks for schedule integration.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PSP are highly desirable
- Strong skills in risk assessment, delay analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced, high-pressure project environments.
