About the job DOCUMENT CONTROLLER (ACONEX)
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents in accordance with company and project document control procedures.
- Maintain and update project documentation, engineering drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFI logs, and other project files in the document management system (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, or similar).

Ensure proper filing, version control, and systematic tracking of all project documents.

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to collect, review, and submit documentation for approvals.

Prepare and issue transmittals, project reports, submission logs, and updated registers as required.

Ensure all documents comply with company standards, client requirements, and relevant authority guidelines in the UAE.

Assist during internal and external audits by retrieving and organizing required documentation.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity and accuracy of project records.

Support continuous improvement of document control processes and workflows.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction/contracting sector within the UAE.
- Strong experience using document control platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, or other EDMS tools.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, project documentation, submittal processes, and revision control.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
