CIVIL/ARCHITECTURAL INSPECTOR

Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect civil and architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Monitor construction activities for residential projects, including finishes, structural interfaces, and architectural details.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with local authority regulations, project standards, and approved materials.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues and technical queries.
- Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings related to civil and architectural works.
- Conduct routine and ad-hoc site inspections, preparing inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required.
- Witness tests and inspections, ensuring quality control and adherence to approved inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Monitor progress of works and report delays, quality issues, or deviations to the Resident Engineer / Project Manager.
- Verify as-built drawings and support project close-out and handover documentation.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements are followed on site.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5 years of UAE experience.
- Proven experience working with design consultancy / engineering consultancy firms.
- Strong background in residential building projects (villas, apartments, mixed-use residential developments)
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, finishes, and local building practices.
- Familiar with UAE local authority regulations and standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality).
- Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficient in site documentation and inspection procedures.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
