CAD TECHNICIAN - INFRASTRUCTURE

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop detailed infrastructure shop drawings (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.) in compliance with UAE authority standards.
• Interpret and convert design inputs, sketches, and mark-ups from engineers into precise AutoCAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings are completed to the required quality and deadlines.
• Coordinate with design engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Revise drawings as necessary based on engineer comments and project requirements.
• Maintain proper organization and file management of CAD drawings.
• Collaborate remotely with the project team to deliver design documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company CAD standards and templates.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience, specifically in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus).
• Strong background in shop drawing production for infrastructure.
• Experience working in design consultancy firms in the UAE is mandatory.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and authority regulations (e.g., DM, RTA, ADM, Ashghal).
• Ability to work remotely with a high level of responsibility and time management.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with remote engineering teams.
• Must be immediately available for joining.
