About the job ORACLE FUSION HCM PROJECT MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Senior Project Manager to lead Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and enhancements. Candidate should be specialized on HCM / HRIS (Human Resource Information system). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation in UAE region, strong leadership skills, and deep functional knowledge across key Oracle HCM modules. This role requires a combination of project management excellence, Oracle Fusion HCM product expertise, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Management:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM projects including planning, scoping, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
- Define and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Should have prepared FDD Documents, RAID, RD11, Issue Logs , Solution design documents
- Knowledge on Personalization via Page customizations
- Should have experience in creation of Roles via OIM(Oracle Identity Management ), Security data and access control
- Drive project governance, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) and client delivery frameworks.
- Monitor project KPIs and take corrective action when necessary.
- Functional & Technical Oversight:
- Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM modules such as: Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, Learn, Time & Labor, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment/Onboarding
- Act as a functional escalation point for key solutioning decisions.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, HR/IT business teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive updates.
- Collaborate with Oracle Support to address product issues and ensure timely resolution.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Manage large functional and technical teams (onshore & offshore).
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior consultants and project managers.
- Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Process Optimization & Best Practices:
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and best practices from previous projects.
- Ensure project documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support processes are well defined.
- Drive the adoption of industry standards and Oracle-recommended practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years as a Project Manager handling Oracle Fusion HCM projects.
- Preferably end to end implementation experience on UAE region
- Proven track record of leading multiple end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations across diverse industries.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Suite, including configuration, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience managing large project teams (15+ resources) across onsite/offshore delivery models.
- Excellent program management, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
- PMP/Prince2 or equivalent certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies (OUM, AIM).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
