We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect in Banking Architecture to support the execution of our 5-year technology strategy. 

This role focuses on designing and delivering innovative banking solutions, ensuring alignment between business and technology functions. 

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in application architecture and a strategic perspective to address emerging topics and challenges within the banking industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Support the development of functional and technical solution designs that align with the banks technology strategy and business needs.
  • Requirements Validation: Challenge and validate business requirements and vendor-delivered solutions to ensure quality, scalability, and alignment with the banks goals.
  • Operating Model Support: Assist in designing and executing the target operating model to enable streamlined processes and efficient delivery.
  • Talent Development: Align talent build-up and upskilling initiatives with the strategy to ensure the organization has the required skills to execute transformation projects.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide strategic perspectives on emerging topics in banking and technology to guide innovation and decision-making.
  • Demand Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders to align priority demands with the overall strategy, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams to address dependencies and maintain progress toward strategic milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of application architecture in the financial industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, Agile) is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing application architectures for banking solutions.
  • Strong ability to assess and challenge vendor solutions and business requirements.
  • Experience in aligning talent development initiatives with organizational strategies.
  • Strategic mindset with knowledge of emerging trends in banking and technology.
