SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and evaluate surface water drainage systems to ensure optimal stormwater management and compliance with local regulations.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling to support design decisions and assess drainage impacts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective drainage solutions for various projects.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design calculations, and documentation for project approvals.
• Review and provide input on design drawings and specifications related to drainage infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on best practices and design methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to surface water management.

Key Qualifications  :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in surface water drainage engineering, 
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) license preferred.
• Proficient in StormCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong understanding of local drainage design standards and regulations in the Middle East.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
