SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering design process for large-scale projects from conceptual design through to detailed design and construction.
• Develop and review electrical system designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and project managers to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and documentation for electrical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges in electrical design and implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in electrical engineering.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with significant experience in large-scale projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
• Strong understanding of international electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
