POSITION PURPOSE:

Business Development Manager shall focus on acquiring and retaining clients and nurturing relationships

over time. This role will act as a strategic partner and advisor to the client and discover new opportunities

to work together for mutual benefit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set targets for new business development for the business development executives.
  • Implement new business initiatives across the business and sales teams.
  • Work closely with members of the team to generate new business within large accounts.
  • Identify sales opportunities as result of market changes.
  • Form strategic partnership with other companies to leverage their existing networks
  • Negotiate sales contracts with customers and ensure their profitability.
  • Work with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams.
  • Establish relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Promote D&R expertise in BIM to new and Existing clients.
  • Participate in the quotation and negotiation phase of new projects.
  • Monitor the project delivery phase to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Technical team during pre-sales engagements.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Influencing and networking with prospective Clients to build relationships and identify business needs to address.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to clients needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to Duncan & Ross Management.
  • Forecast and track key business development metrics (e.g., weekly reporting of pipeline development and progress, quarterly sales results, and annual forecasts).
  • Travel across the GCC on timely basis to meet prospective clients and identify their needs while visiting their offices and presenting Duncan & Ross Solutions Portfolio.
  • Project Mobilization Remobilization Oversight on new projects.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • We do expect that you do have the experiences/ behaviors below:
  • Microsoft Office Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent English Communication. Another language would be an advantage
  • 4 - 8 Years Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager.
  • Experience as a BIM Engineer is an advantage.
  • Ideally experience in any of the sectors: O&G, Construction, Aerospace & Defense, Technology, Telco Sector · Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple business management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, driven, methodical and enthusiastic individual.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization,
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • MSc / MBA / BA/ BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, engineering or relevant field.
  • Valid Driving License
