MEP SITE COORDINATOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and streamline workflow.
• Monitor and inspect MEP installations, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
• Facilitate coordination between MEP and other trades to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, and material submittals, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings, prepare progress reports, and update stakeholders on work status.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Address site challenges, propose solutions, and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP coordination within GCC contracting companies, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, installation procedures, and project execution.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project coordination tools.
• Arabic-speaking candidate preferred.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
