Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, planning, and implementation of Electrical/Mechanical systems  for diverse projects.
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis and provide engineering solutions for mechanical/electrical systems, ensuring energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage and review Electrical/Mechanical design calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Perform site visits, inspections, and project reviews to monitor progress and ensure the quality and compliance of installed Electrical/Mechanical systems.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project teams, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including client meetings, proposal preparation, and identifying new opportunities.

Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in MEP engineering, and previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment. At least 3 years of experience in a senior or lead role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical systems design, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
  • Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or other relevant MEP design tools).
  • Strong understanding of local and international building codes, safety standards, and energy regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, client communications, and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
