QA/QC CIVIL ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary purpose of a QAQC Civil Engineer is to ensure that construction activities meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and local regulations. This involves implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes throughout all phases of construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and ensure compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards in the construction of high-rise concrete buildings.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to verify adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Review and approve materials, construction processes, and workmanship to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues effectively and promptly.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, client requirements, and company quality policies.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive measures to address any quality concerns.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC processes and best practices.
• Report regularly to senior management on quality performance and progress.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC roles with a focus on concrete high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, codes, and practices.
• Experience working with contracting companies in the UAE.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software is a plus.
• Locally available in the UAE and ready for immediate deployment.
