PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Road Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring their safety, stability, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for complete BIM submissions & clash free models as per NEOM standard or similar projects which includes, Civil 3D Models, NWC, DWFx, & IFC through BIM 360.\
  • Assigning COBie parameters to highway elements using DYNAMO.
  • Responsible for preparation of Earthwork (grading) drawings.
  • Preparation of Horizontal Alignments & Vertical profile design based on the concept layout prepared.
  • Preparing Road Layouts as per MoT Highway Design Manual.
  • Assisting to Design managers in various design management activities.
  • Discussing and Solving key problems & design issues with fellow team members and coordinating with other disciplines.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Geometric design of roads & highways.
  • Good at project management & design coordination.
  • Detailed design and development of Signalized junctions, simple Junction, roundabouts and grade separated junctions.\
  • Compatible with common data environments like BIM 360, ProjectWise, and ACC.
  • Preparing Detailed Cross Sections of Roads, Earthwork design, quantity calculations.
  • Have a capability of working in team as well as individually and deliver highway design and drawings.
  • Road signages and marking design.
  • Good Knowledge of KSA, AASHTO, DMRB, MOMRA, SRTA & IRC Standards.
  • Hands on Experience in Civil 3D, MX Roads, Auto CAD, MDM (Asset Tagging), Navisworks, QGIS, Microsoft Office, and Auto TURN
  • Knowledge of data property sets & assigning the property values using dynamo

VERTICAL: ENGINEERING
