BIM COORDINATOR - ELECTRICAL

JOB TITLE: BIM Coordinator

LOCATION: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: A building information modeling (BIM) coordinator coordinates the process of generating and managing digital models of places; building information models are virtual files that help with decision-making during the building process.

DEGREE: Engineering in respective Field

YEAR OF EXPERIENCE: 7-10

KEY SKILLS:

• Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, BIM Processes, BIM 360,
• Knowledge of construction process's and procedures
• Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• Completed coursework in Construction, Architecture or an equivalent combination of training and or work experience.
• BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology
• Leadership skills, Communication skills, Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge in engineering respective field in Design and construction phases, in addition to as built and handover.
• Knowledge of FM and AIM requirements in addition to COBie parameters and spread sheets authoring.
• Experience in creating 4Ds and 5Ds in Navisworks
• Synchro knowledge is a cridet

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
• Coordinating and managing modelers in respective trade\discipline
• Reporting to the BIM Manager
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
• Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
• Early design review and constructability analysis
• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
• 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
• Evolvement in BIM Management documents and plans creation.
• Authoring and creation of BIM Manual and Clash detection matrix with the help of the BIM Manager, to be able to lead the clash detection process in an efficient manner.

• 3D modeling and graphic imaging software (Autodesk, 3D Slash, Cinema 4D, Adobe, Corel, etc.)
• 4D simulation (Navisworks, synchro)
• 5D cost estimation (Navisworks, Synchro)
• Computer-aided design software (Microsoft Visio, Visual Architect, TurboCAD, etc.)
• Office software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
