ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create 3D BIM Models (FAMILY CREATION MANDATORY) 
• Coordinate all aspects of the model (Electrical).
• Update the BIM models on a biweekly or monthly basis.
• Collaborate with the scheduling department to build and maintain the 4D BIM model.
• Perform clash detection and resolve all clashes.
• Manage and coordinate external 3D presentations to the client.
• Revit modeling for electrical discipline.
• Work under the direction of design professionals and BIM manager.
• Ensure construction documents' accuracy based on discipline Revit modeling.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines' design-changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to Revit project workflow criteria.
• Follow Revit content standards and development procedures.
• May take the lead on developing some discipline-specific Revit modeling content for project.
• Print drawing sets for professional teams and participate in discipline reviews.
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for Revit coordination meetings.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same position
• Contracting company experience
• Excellent understanding of Electrical BIM procedures, strategies, and workflow.
• Proficient in Revit software
• On-site construction experience would be desirable
• Strong written, verbal communication in English is essential.
  

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
