RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement modern data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and dashboards.
  • Build and maintain pipelines using Data Factory in Fabric for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Design semantic models and datasets using Power BI Direct Lake, Import, or LiveConnect options.
  • Utilize OneLake as a centralized data lake and implement data governance best practices.
  • Enable self-service BI by developing user-friendly reports, dashboards, and metrics layers.
  • Integrate Fabric with external data sources (on-prem/cloud) and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and efficient data lifecycle management within the Fabric platform.
  • Provide technical training and support to users and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in BI and data platform solutions, including recent work with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Power BI (including DAX, Power Query)
  • Synapse Data Warehouse (in Fabric)
  • Data Factory pipelines (Fabric)
  • OneLake
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
  • Experience with integrating Microsoft Fabric with Microsoft 365, Azure, or third-party services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certifications: e.g., Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance in regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, Python, or M.
